The Puerto Economic Economic Scorecard gauges the directional month-to-month movement of 5 domestic economic indicators: total non-farm payroll employment, cement sales, gasoline consumption, electric power generation, and automobile and light truck sales.
We note that but for Auto & Light Truck sales these indicators constitute the BDE’s Economic Activity Index.
Payroll employment is in thousands and is not seasonally adjusted.
Cement is production of thousands of 94 lb bags.
Gasoline consumption is in millions of gallons.
Electric energy generation is in millions of kilowatt-hours.
Automobile & Light Truck sales in units sold.
The PR Economic Scorecard index is by the PR Nowcasting Laboratory.
